Terms & Conditions
Introduction
These terms and conditions ("terms") govern your use of this website, and, together with any proposal, statement of work or engagement letter agreed with a client, the provision of The Bid Method's bid-writing and tender-support services. Please read them carefully before using this site or engaging our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or engage our services.

Services provided
The Bid Method provides specialist bid-writing and tender-support services, including:
- Bid writing - drafting and refining responses to tender questions and specifications.
- Bid review & RAG reports - independent review of draft bids with red/amber/green scoring and improvement recommendations.
- End-to-end bid management - coordinating the full bid process from opportunity identification through to submission.
- Tender opportunity search - identifying relevant tender opportunities for a client's sector and capability.
- Bid readiness consultancy - helping businesses prepare their processes, evidence and capability statements ahead of tendering.
This website provides general information about these services. It does not, by itself, form a contract for paid services. The scope, price and timeline for any paid engagement are agreed separately and in writing with each client, typically via a proposal or statement of work, which will take precedence over this website's general description of services in the event of any conflict.
Website use
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in a way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use and enjoyment of it, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website - including text, graphics, logos and branding - belongs to The Bid Method and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Enquiries and consultations
Free initial consultations offered via this website are provided for discussion purposes only, to help us understand your needs and explain how we might help. A free consultation does not, by itself, constitute a contract for services or create any obligation on either party. A paid engagement only comes into effect once both parties have agreed and confirmed the scope, price and timeline in writing.
Client responsibilities
To help us deliver a high-quality bid within tender deadlines, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information relevant to the bid or tender.
- Respond to requests for input, review comments and approvals in a timely manner.
- Notify us promptly of any changes to tender requirements, deadlines or client circumstances that may affect the work.
Where late or incomplete information from a client affects our ability to meet a tender deadline, The Bid Method cannot be held responsible for any resulting delay or missed submission.
Confidentiality
We understand that tender and bid information is often commercially sensitive. The Bid Method is committed to treating all client information - including tender content, pricing, strategy and supporting documentation - as strictly confidential, and to using it solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed engagement.
Confidentiality/NDA approach placeholder - e.g. confirm whether a standard mutual NDA is offered or signed as standard, and any data-handling commitments beyond this policy
Limitation of liability
We take care to provide our services professionally and to a high standard. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Bid Method does not guarantee the outcome of any tender or bid submission - success depends on many factors outside our control, including client-provided information, pricing, and the decisions of the commissioning organisation.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of contracts, profits or business opportunity, arising from use of this website or our services.
- Our total liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that specific engagement, except where liability cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
Fees & payment
Fees for our services are quoted individually for each engagement, based on the scope of work agreed with the client, and confirmed in writing before work begins.
Payment terms placeholder - e.g. deposit required, invoicing schedule, accepted payment methods, and payment due dates
Termination / cancellation of engagements
Either party may end an agreed engagement in line with the notice period and any cancellation terms set out in the relevant proposal or statement of work.
Notice period placeholder - e.g. standard notice period for cancellation, and how fees for work already completed are handled
Governing law
These terms, and any engagement with The Bid Method, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
